Piradoku is a calm puzzle game at sea for iPhone. Every board is a small square of sea with your ship on one side and a treasure chest further on. Drag your ship from square to square, let the numbers on the edge guide you, and find the one route that leads to the gold.
There is always exactly one right route, so you never have to guess. Each board is a short, calm chain of reasoning that rewards a careful look, which makes it a good puzzle for the train, the sofa or the five minutes before bed.
How to play
The numbers along the top and the left say how many squares of each column and row your route uses. A 0 means the route never enters that row, a high number means it winds through most of it. Tap a square to put a cross where the route will not go.
Put your finger on the ship and drag it across the water. Every square you pass becomes part of the route, and dragging back sails the ship back for free. When every number fits and the ship reaches the treasure, the lid springs open and the coins tumble out.
Five worlds, each with its own twist
Thirty puzzles per world, and a world opens once you have solved the one before it. Each new sea keeps the rules you know and adds one idea that makes you look again.
- The sea, where rocks, wrecks and tentacles block the way
- The ice sea, where a frozen piece of route shows how your ship must pass
- The volcano island, where lava lets you sail straight through but never round a bend
- The jungle river, where a whirlpool pulls your ship into a turn
- The ghost sea, where fog hides some of the numbers
Free, and calm on purpose
Piradoku is free, with no ads, no account and no timer, and it works offline. There is a new puzzle every day. Optional extras such as compass packs and decorations for your ship are there if you want them, and never needed to finish a world.
